The cabbage soup diet consists of basing your diet, for 7 days, on a daily consumption of cabbage-based soup . This soup can be accompanied by some very specific foods (fruits and vegetables in particular) in order to limit the various deficiencies and so that the diet can be slightly varied.
The particularity of this diet lies in its extremely low-calorie aspect . That is, the diet is made in such a way that calories are kept to a minimum. THE PRINCIPLES OF THE DIET
The cabbage soup diet lasts for seven days . A period during which you have to eat a lot of soup made with seasonal vegetables: cabbage of course, but also tomatoes, onions, celery, carrots and others, which must boil for about ten minutes without fat, then be simmered. The preparation is done without any fat. Simply :
- Cut all the vegetables into small pieces and cover them with boiling water in a casserole dish. Season.

ADVANTAGES
This diet obviously has more advantages in the short term than in the long term. No effect on the medium and long term can be expected (except to repeat this diet regularly, which is not really a solution)
With such a diet, you lose weight very quickly : up to 7 kilos after a week. It may therefore be of interest to people who would like to lose weight absolutely for a particular occasion occurring in seven days. This diet makes you feel little hungry: the food is very nutritious and you can consume this soup as many times as you want during the day and until you are full. It is a diet that therefore requires little effort on yourself, especially if you like this soup. Such a diet also helps to cleanse your stomach by purging the bad elements through liquid and fat-burning foods: in addition to losing weight, you will feel healthier .
DISADVANTAGES
Do not overlook the negative side of this diet. If it makes you lose many kilos in a minimum of time, these kilos will be found all the more quickly, even after having respected a stabilization phase. In addition, this diet, composed mainly of vegetables and fruits, is not balanced , and you can end up with deficiencies that will cause you fatigue , lack of concentration and mood swings .
